Sometimes, I go shopping in my closet and come out with a gem! I bought these seersucker pants years ago and I completely forgot about them. Sarah Jessica Parker had a line of clothing called Bitten that was sold only at Steve and Barry stores. Everything in the line was $20 or less. I’m pretty sure these pants were $14. Sadly, Steve and Barry closed and SJP discontinued the line of clothing. She now has a shoe line at Nordstrom… but that is a whole other story!
Seersucker reminds me of spring and summer, so I layered a floral chambray shirt from Old Navy with an ivory eyelet sweater from the Ann Taylor Loft. I liked all the texture of these choices and it made the seersucker look a little less preppy. I needed to add a little color to the outfit, so I decided to wear my teal C. Wonder flats. I finished the outfit with a new pearl necklace from Ann Taylor and my usual bracelet bling.
Homework: How would you wear seersucker this summer?
